Okay, so if you are in the internet and affiliate marketing business, you have probably bought several
"How to make $1000 a day" guides in order to increase your profits.
Like me, you have probably discovered that the majority of the ebooks like this are scams or they are outdated and
don't provide you with the information you need. Quite frankly, I'm a little disturbed by the plethora of useless
ebooks out there on the topic.
Affiliate marketing guides come in two forms: those that provide useful information and those that are simply scams targeted towards affiliate marketers that are desperate to find a way to sell their affiliate products and save their failing campaigns.
The fact is, affiliate marketing is a business and it needs to be treated like a business in order to be successful in the long run. Most guides that are scams are those that promise you'll start making money the first day you put their techniques to use. Honestly, I haven't found a single guide that fulfills this promise. However, it doesn't mean that these types of guides don't have a little truth to them. Many of the techniques they provide work in conjunction with other more reliable techniques so purchasing these guides is not always without some benefit if you have already taken the steps to create your business.
The most useful guides are those that help you set up your business by providing information on how to set up your business, good advertising techniques that don't rely on violating your terms of service or false advertisement of your product. So far the only guide that I have found that does this is the Super Affiliate Handbook.
The benefit of the Super Affiliate Handbook is that it is a business model and not a get rich quick guide. The Super Affiliate Handbook takes you from the basics of understanding what it means to be an affiliate marketer, to setting up a full fledged affiliate marketing business. Avoid the Hype
Most affiliate marketing guides that are simply scams have a lot of hype surrounding them. What I have found is that a guide that is really a scam gets a lot of hype and the techniques affiliate marketers use to sell the guide are rather false and misleading. One guide that I feel exemplifies this is Affiliate Project X because it encourages misleading the consumer and violating the terms of service of most affiliate programs.
Avoid False Promises
The second aspect to pay attention to is the promises the guide makes. As in all scams, if the promises sound too good to be true, they probably are. Don't be tempted by these false promises because as with all scams they will most likely end up costing you money in the long run.
Avoid Reactionary Guides
Guides that are reactionary in nature are those that respond to a change in the search engine algorithms either in the organic search or advertising algorithms. This guides usually provide some immediate information to those affected by these changes in such a way that their business is shut down. Those that run are truly running a business usually don't need to rely on these guides in order to continue business because they are not relying on schemes to begin with.
The bottom line is that if you set up your affiliate marketing business as a true business and work to make it grow by using good business strategies rather than relying on schemes, the potential for your business to profit increases.

This is easy when you are using the product or following the course because you can share the benefits in real time and from the heart. This is how I funded a lot of my marketing education.

How to Correct Any Online Poker Problem Quickly
One of the greatest problems most amateur poker players have is an inability to correct their own mistakes, even when they know what those mistakes are.
The simply question is:
Why can't players correct problems that arise over and over again in their game?
The answer is that they are trying to use their mind to correct the problem when they should really be using their hand. Here's how that works.
First, this assumes you know what the problem is and you are correct in your assessment. If you determine that you problem is that you don't play Kxs enough from middle position in raised pots, then I don't think this advise will help you. In other words, the correction should be something that helps your game, not something that hurts it.
Here's how you move training from your mind to your hand. It's simple and it works.
1. Identify your hole. (After you lose a hand if you think "God, I can't believe I did that Again!!" then you found a hole that this will correct.)
2. Create a direct, clear statement that you will NEVER do 'whatever' again. Or alternately that you will ALWAYS do something that you are failing to do. It has to be clear and start with the words "I will".
3. WRITE your statement by hand, slowly, clearly and carefully 100 times. Don't rush. Don't scribble. Don't cheat by writing "I, I, I, I" down the page then "will, will, will". The point is to actually change the way you think.
4. In the future if you do that thing you're not supposed to do again, then write your sentences again 100 time BEFORE YOU ALLOW YOURSELF TO PLAY AGAIN.
Typically this will take about 1 hour to complete. And when you're done the hole will be plugged.
Here are some examples from my own experience - which I've written 100 times:
I will never again call a Large Bet when I Know my Good hand is beat.
Have you ever done that? You have trips and the flush hits and you know there's a 90% chance the guy was on the flush draw, but when he pushes or bets big you call anyway?
I will understand that careful play is not weak.
I did this one after losing $1800 by being recklessly aggressive with really good hands, but had I played those hands a little more carefully I would have seen that I was beat or lost much less money.
Here are some statements that most beginners need to write:
I will always check my position before making any decision.
KT SUCKS. OK, this is a BIG one for beginners. You all have your 'lucky' hands or hands for some reason you play. Mine was Q9 when I started - don't ask! Whatever yours' is, write 100 times that it SUCKS!
I will never call when I should raise, and I will never call when I should fold.
I will never play a hand if I don't have a plan.
If I have the obvious hand and make a pot sized bet then I'll believe the re-raiser has me beat.
The list could go on and on. The point isn't to get writer's cramp, the point is to have a TOOL that you can USE when needed. Everyone has The Issue that keeps popping up. Fix it!! Now you know how.

Summer Workout Plan for Losing Weight - Beach Ready in 30 Days!
When summer is approaching, or even a holiday season, a weekend away with friends or family, it can help to be an extra booster to get in great shape by burning a few pounds of extra body fat. Let me show you a lean mean workout to get you into the beach ready shape quick-smart.
You are going to want to center your workout around cardio and resistance training. Although in this workout we are just going for fat loss, so we won't be lifting really heavy weights as we want to get as much of the cardio aspect as possible in here (huffing, puffing and sweating for fat loss).
Days 1, 3 and 5
Half and hour cardio in the am and half an hour in the pm. Make sure that you vary the type of cardio you do as doing the same thing every day can get a bit too much and your body gets used to it, then it stops burning fat. Try swimming, jogging, biking, body weight circuits, hill sprints, dancing, martial arts, boxing or joining a sports club and putting in 110% on the field.
Days 2, 4 and 6
This is the day in the gym. Use relatively light weights as the idea here is just pretty much get in more cardio, but we want to incorporate a litt weights to build lean muscle to replace the fat getting burnt off legs, butt, chest, arms etc.
Deadlifts: 4 x 25
Back squats: 4 x 35
Clean and press: 4 x 15
Burpees: 4 x 15
Bench press: 2 x 15
Weighted sit ups: 3 x 15
Tucking crunches: 3x 20
This workout will give great fat loss, if you start to feel lacking in energy and constantly tired, cut back and have a day off once in a while. On the 7th day you should rest as well.

Collecting Autographs for Fun and, Sometimes, Profit
I began collecting fine art prints 35 years ago. I made a few mistakes along the way. I trusted too many unscrupulous dealers and bought some fakes. But I soon learned that it's a business and they are all out to make money, at our expense. Therefore, I began to research the signatures and type of work they produced. After a while, I was able to spot the real from fraudulent in a few seconds. In other words, I became my own best expert.
This is true in everything that has value. Stock investors and bankers want your money, so they will tell you anything to get it. It's your responsibility to check on the stock or offer and determine if it's right for you and makes sense.
Now why not look at autograph collecting the same way? I'll use myself as an example. I moved from collecting art to obtaining signed music albums and signature of historic figures. I bought a Walt Disney signed check from Phil Sears, who works with Roy Disney as an authenticator. It stands to reason he would sell real Disney items. The moral; buy from established dealers.
But when it comes to Beatles signatures, for instance, everything changes. Lennon and Harrison are expensive because they are deceased. The group of the Fab Four on one album or page is far more than most of us can afford. Why? Because a few so-called experts like Frank Caiazzo have figured out a way to drive up the prices. He's the self-proclaimed expert and sells sigs at inflated prices because he can and then also authenticates other Beatles signatures. But coincidently, most turn out to be fakes. So, if the vast majority of other Beatles signatures he can say are fakes, and only his are real, he can therefore charge just about anything he wants and does. As of this writing, he has a signed album for $125,000. What's wrong with this picture? Can you say monopoly?
The reality is that this hobby is strictly opinion based and not all that scientific. Although some groups will also test the ink and paper forensically and that does help. But the signature is simply compared to existing signatures on file. So, couldn't anyone do that, including you and I? Of course we could and should.
Which brings me to the basic hobby or purpose of collecting. If you want Barry Bonds or Bill Clinton's autograph, there are dozens of online places to get one. It will cost you a few hundred dollars and there aren't too many fakes of those two out there. But, once again, get familiar with the signature first and then check out the dealer. A word of warning; EBay has bunches of fakes so start somewhere else and try to stay with a UACC member of the Universal Autograph Collectors Club. They have some basic standards and offer some hope of an honest deal. The trick is to find a reputable dealer that gives a money-back guarantee and a COA or Certificate or Letter of Authenticity that should also state they stand behind the signature.
But if you are seeking Neil Armstrong, Elvis Presley, John Lennon or even Marilyn Monroe's autograph and have a few 1000 to spend on each, beware. There are zillions of fakes out there. Compare it to counterfeiting one-dollar bills. You hardly find any. But there are plenty of fake hundreds and that's where the profit is. So forgers go after the high-ticket items and that is where you have to really do your homework. Presley, Monroe, and John Lennon died young and have limited signatures out there. Armstrong stopped signing in 1995. There are a few Monroe signed checks produced after she married Joe Dimaggio and they state, "Marilyn DiMaggio" as her signature. Yet her married name was Norma Jean DiMaggio, as written on her marriage license and USO entertainment card. So a check signed Marilyn DiMaggio is an obvious fake. You can also look at Lennon's signature as it changed with the years and Presley signed very few albums. So, you must do your own background work before writing that big check yourself.
Finally, autograph collecting can be fun and fascinating. Only spend what you can afford and if you find that incredible deal, like a hand-signed photo of the Beatles or Apollo 11 astronauts for $199, you can be sure it's a fake. Period. No legitimate dealer who knows the value will dump a real signature for much less than it's worth. I did buy a few fakes in the beginning because I was greedy and thought I was saving money, Luckily, it only cost me a few hundred bucks but I am older and wiser for it. You can get a quick opinion from a few services like PSA and AMAA for $10 or so and it's worth it before the purchase. PSA offers it for any Ebay item. So, choose your hero, check out their autograph and get familiar with it first. Compare prices and if it looks suspicious, wait for the real one to come along; it always will. Anywhere you go online nowadays, you will see an ad offering to pay you cash for your opinion. Whether it's a paid survey or focus group, the idea is the same - market research companies want your opinion and are willing to give you cash and free merchandise for you to spend your time filling out their surveys.
In this article, we will review the most frequently asked questions about paid surveys.
What is a paid survey?
A paid survey, or "market research survey", is a series of questions that are presented to either an individual, or group of individuals, to see how they perceive and respond to certain products or services. Each and every person fits into some type of demographic (segments of human populations broken down by age, sex, income, etc.), that certain products or services are marketed to. For instance, athletic equipment may be marketed towards a younger, physically active demographic, while luxury cars might be marketed towards a higher income demographic. These online surveys are offered for free as a means to understand certain markets better.
What is a focus group?
A focus group is another type of survey where a group of individuals are invited to discuss a certain topic related to the company that sponsors the focus group. You may or may not know the point of the discussion and they are often hosted by a moderator that will guide the discussion. These focus groups can be held at a physical location or online and usually lasts between 30 minutes to 2 hours. The compensation can range from up to , depending on the topic and time involved.
Why is my opinion so important?
Companies spend hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of dollars on advertising for new and/or existing products and services. These "advertising campaigns" can sometimes be a complete waste of time and money if the company does not research the market that they are trying to capture. So it makes sense for a company to see how it's products or services are received by the public, before it invests the money and time on advertising. This is where the market research survey comes in, and this is why your opinion is so important.
I understand all that, but why would they pay me money?
The answer to this question is very easy and boils down to one thing; Your time is worth their money! Think about it this way...if you are going to introduce a new type of tennis racket into the market, but you're unsure if it's needed or wanted, would you rather spend thousands of dollars on advertising, or simply pay 50 tennis players and find out their opinion about tennis rackets?
Okay, so how much can I really make taking paid surveys?
Compensation from survey companies can range from $1 up to $75 per survey, and most surveys take around 6-12 minutes to complete. There are some companies that offer points for completing a survey, and those points can then be redeemed for gift certificates, merchandise, cash and prizes. You can even be entered into raffles for prizes after completing certain surveys. No matter what the compensation, all legitimate survey companies will tell you up front, before you begin the survey, what the compensation will be. The more you take, the more you make.
How am I paid, and is that money taxed?
The market research company that sponsors the survey or focus group will send you your compensation, usually by mail. The money that they tell you the survey is worth is the amount you will receive by check. It is entirely possible to receive multiple checks from multiple research companies at various times of the month. Since you will be operating as an independent contractor, you are responsible for filing taxes on all the money you have earned, which most likely means adding the income to your personal filings.
Is there a limit to the number of paid surveys I can take?
There is no limit to the amount of surveys or focus groups you can participate in online. You can offer your opinion every day, all day and get paid for it.
Who is eligible to take a paid survey?
Almost anyone is eligible to sign up for and take online surveys, although some companies may have certain age restrictions. Some companies will allow surveys to be completed by people 13 years of age or older, while other survey companies require you to be 18 years of age or older.
Do I need to fit a certain profile to participate in a paid survey?
When you register with a market research company, you are asked a preliminary set of questions to figure out what type of profile you have. That profile will be used to determine what surveys and focus groups you will be invited to participate in. Since there are hundreds of research companies that sponsor surveys, the more you sign up with will increase the number of paid surveys offered to you.
What kinds of questions are asked on paid surveys?
You are asked a wide range of questions, such as where you prefer to shop or what kind of shampoo you use. You will be asked about products that you have tried and what products you continue to buy. The questions on research surveys are given to better understand the different markets the company is trying to capture, which is why your answers are so valuable to them.
Will I be ever required to pay to take an online survey?
There are many paid survey opportunities on the internet, and they all are offered 100% free of charge. However, there are a few paid survey directory websites ("paid survey programs") that charge a fee to join. They have spent their time researching all the paid surveys online to find the legitimate ones, and have listed them all in one spot. Leash training your dog is an excellent way to strengthen your position as the one in charge. You need to train your dog to walk on a loose leash, so that you and your dog can both enjoy the walk. A tight leash means a much harder time controlling your dog (unless you are the one that is making the leash tight; in which case you're going to have a much harder time both enjoying the walk, and teaching your dog what you want). Here are five tips to help you leash train your dog.
TIP 1: HAVE THE ATTITUDE OF A LEADER
Dogs are experts at reading body language. Use your body to communicate with your dog that you are the one in charge, by holding your body the way a natural leader would hold her/his body, while you are walking with your dog. Hold the thought in your mind that you are in charge. Don't prove to your dog that you are in charge. Instead, communicate to your dog that you are in charge through attitude.
TIP 2: RELAX
With your dog on your left side, take hold of the loop end of the leash with your right hand.. Grab the leash loosely with your left hand, leaving slack in the leash between you and your dog. A loose grip is essential here as it allows you to stay relaxed, and gives you more freedom to make adjustments as you walk. You should be able to swing your arms naturally while walking your dog. This will reduce both your mental and physical stress levels, allowing you to enjoy the walk. And, the more you are relaxed about the walk, the more relaxed your dog can be, allowing it to enjoy the walk, while still being under your control. Think of your dog as just an extension of your arm; wherever you go, it must go, just as any part of your arm must go.
TIP 3: CHANGE DIRECTIONS OFTEN
By changing your direction of travel when your dog is not expecting it, you will teach your dog to pay better and better attention to you. Changing direction is also the best way to stop a dog from pulling. If your dog is unaccustomed to walking on a leash, it will probably immediately start out faster than you, and start to pull. I might even reach out and pat it on the shoulder. I do everything that I can to let it know that it is doing well. I do the same if the dog checks in with me by looking at me, even if it is out ahead a little farther than I would like, or off a little too far to the side. However, what I really want is to have the dog pretty much next to me, and to be checking in with me frequently. So, as soon as the dog is next to me, and it looks up at me at the same time, I tell it "Yes," and pop it a treat, I also often give the dog a pat on the shoulder while giving it the treat. I want to make it feel that walking next to me, and paying attention to me, is the best thing ever.
TIP 5: INITIALLY, PRACTICE IN A DISTRACTION-FREE AREA
Practice the above with your dog in your house, backyard, or garage, repeatedly before taking it out on a real walk. This will give your dog a chance to learn how to walk correctly on a leash without the distractions that it will encounter on a walk. Remember that learning will happen best if both you and your dog are focused on the lesson. Have a conversation with your dog, while you walk, to keep it focused on you. And, walk without the distractions of cell phones and mp3 players. You need to keep your attention on your dog, not on something that is separated from you.
Teaching your dog to walk on a loose leash will go a long way in teaching your dog that you are in charge.
